Bio: Although I was trained as a painter, my curiosity and creativity spread within different artistic scopes, as well as a painting. I painted professionaly for several years. Animated cinema was a love that years later I could experiment with computers. This led to an M.A qualification. But my long lasting love is textiles. Mum taught me textitle production as a teenager. I seem to be traveling full cicle.
Stoneleafmoon kindly sent me the photo of this very old Spindle. It resembles the Portuguese Spindles of today. Is it European? How old is it?
Hi! This is a French spindle with a metal cap. Probably from the early 1900s.
